Yas brings over 25 years of extensive clinical experience in Physiotherapy and U.S. Athletic Training, a role similar to that of an Australian Sports Physiotherapist. He has further enhanced his expertise by completing a Diploma in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in Canada, along with a Diploma in Massage in the USA.
In his practice, Yas conducts thorough assessments and treatments to identify the underlying causes of dysfunctions and conditions. His holistic approach incorporates a blend of manual therapy techniques, acupuncture, and personalized exercise programs to effectively address both acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues, including those related to the spine and extremities, as well as sports and orthopedic injuries.
Yas has a rich history of working with elite athletes, including U.S. Division I student-athletes at institutions such as the University of Oregon and Washington State University, as well as professional athletes and Olympians. His experience also includes serving as an intern for the Australian National U20 Rugby Union team during the 2015 Oceania Rugby Junior Championship and the 2015 Australian Rugby Union Camp, as well as fulfilling the role of team physiotherapist and sports trainer for QLD National Premier League clubs, including Souths United and Palm Beach Soccer clubs.
